كَمْ مِنْ مُسْتَدْرَجٍ بِالْإِحْسَانِ إِلَيْهِ، وَ مَغْرُورٍ بِالسِّتْرِ عَلَيْهِ، وَ مَفْتُونٍ بِحُسْنِ الْقَوْلِ فِيهِ! وَ مَا ابْتَلَي اللَّهُ أَحَداً بِمثْلِ الْإِمْلاَءِ لَهُ

چه بسيار كسانيكه نيكيها و نعمتهای خداوند بر او نازل و او سرگرم گناه است ، چه بسيار كسيكه خداوند پرده بر روی كردار زشت وی كشيد ( و او را رسوا نساخت ) چه بسيار كسيكه بسخن نيكی كه ديگران درباره وی گفتند مغرور و فريفته شد ، و خداوند هيچكس را مانند آنكه او را مهلت داد و عقوبت نكرد آزمايش نفرمود ( لكن همينكه ستيزه خوئی و گناه را از حدّ بدر برد رسوايش ساخت )

There are many persons whom constant grants of His Bounties turn them wicked and fit for His punishment and there are many more who have become vain and self- deceptive because the Merciful Allah has not exposed their weaknesses and vices to the world and the people speak highly about them. All this is an opportunity. No trial of the Lord is more severe than the time He allows (in which either you may repent or get deeper into vices)
